Has anyone installed the Perrycraft roof rails on S model? I want roof rails for my Rogue but quite honestly, I don't need them to be functional, I just like the look. I saw the pics of the yakima roof racks on this site but I prefer the rails.

Does anyone have any experience with these rails? I would appreciate any advice!

Thanks!

I can't say that I've heard of these, can you provide a link to a web site so we can have a look? Thanks.

I am also interested in roof rails for my 2010 S360 Rogue.

My last 4 or so vehicles (Pathfinders & Volvo) had the factory rails and I used them quite often. My biggest concern is the headliner. these (Perrycraft rails) seem to be designed such that the attachments appear to be blind, so that therre is no need to access from below.

Comments regarding these particular rails would be appreciated.

If they are indeed attached from above, my biggest concern would be the roof mounted curtain airbags. Blindly drilling holes into the roof near the airbags are not a good idea.

Any idea if the dealer can tell me where the "No drill" areas are in the roof?

Perhaps this will help:

There will be some difficulties with aftermarket roof rails:

1) The roof is curved front to back. Perrycraft roof rails are all straight. Be sure you are comfortable with this look.

2) The roof tapers horizontally front to rear. If you decide to use crossbars, they will have to be cut to size. This also means you will not be able to adjust them later on. The factory roof rails & crossbars are fixed and non-adjustable BTW.
