So Im looking for some liquid gaskets for my oil pan, and I read the article where the guy used Ultra Grey. When I went to the auto store they had numerous colors , black, blue, red, orange, and I was wondering what the difference is here?

Im also looking for some liquid gasket stuff for exhaust applications. Suggestions?

I am rather fond of the Ultra gray myself. But when it is available, Hondabond. Expensive, but quite possibly the best stuff commercially available.

If you're worried about leaks, just weld your oil pan on. Problem solved.

Get ultra grey or black. Or you could use the copper one. Don't use the blue one that is out dated. Only get ones that say ultra they are the new and up to date and don't have any acids in it and can last much longer

Haha! I work at Advance and get that too. Especialy from the old skool chevy guys. You can't tell them s***. But Ultra black is the most resistant to oil. Red is high temp but we sell a copper that is even higher. like 750!
