I'm going to be making 2 torque plates for boring/honing. One plate will be for PerformanceVH and the other will be available for rent. I do not have any prices set yet. If anyone is interested in purchasing one, let me know and I'll get you the best price possible (I won't be making these for profit). This is going to be a one time run only.

For those of you unfamiliar with torque plates, I would recommend doing a little googling.

PerformanceVH is just about ready to start offering affordable options to lower compression ratios with forged Wiseco pistons. Other options will be solid lifter conversions, custom billet cams, custom cam regrinds.

Is this some sort of plate to help align a boring machine or something? I've never heard of this, so excuse my ignorance!

I think it is used to apply stresses to the block that it would normally see when the heads are tightened down. This gives greater accuracy to the end result of boring/honing.

Sorry guys, haven't hopped on here for a little while. You're absolutely correct fluffybunny. If you don't use a torque plate when boring/honing, then bolt the torque plate and hone the cylinder. You can actually see spots that the hone does not come in contact with because the head bolts distort the cylinder walls! I am only getting one made, they are super expensive!
