Do they make any? I have exhaust (Stillen) and intake (Stillen) but want about 20 more hp at the crank so that crank hp will be right at or above 300hp, and then like 260ish at the wheels....

There are a lot of more options for the 3.5 but if you want a serious tune then find a local tuner. about 600 bucks to get the car tuned for max performance.

Racingline Ypipe will net you approx 13hp to the wheels :)

yeah, I know there is that option. But I was looking for like a handheld one that plugs into the OBDII and can be reset to stock tune if nessecary...it's still under warranty and that $600 tune would void that for sure.

Racingline Y Pipe is a must have too.

is Bully dog the only one? or is there a less expensive option, I don't really need a fancy gauge thing and crap, I just want to plug in load a tune for 91+ octane and get the 15-20hp gain and move on...

How does this effect a factory Nissan Powertrain Warranty though...

If you're that worried about your warranty, then you shouldn't be planning on doing any modding to your car other than bolt-on aesthetics. In essence, everything could void/jeopardize your warranty depending on how lenient your local dealership is and what type of mods you have.

I'm just saying it would be nice to be able to tune the motor and then if it needs to go in for warranty work, then you can set it back to original, have the work done, then get it back and put the tune back on....

Well yeah, you could do that with the Bullydog I believe. But with mods like a y-pipe or springs/coilovers, the dealership might give you s*** just because they typically don't cater well to people like us. It just depends on the situation, mostly.

Its been said many times, Google the Magnuson-Moss act and then dont warry about voiding your warranty ever again.

That talks about full warranties and stuff. But nissan's warranty is a limited warranty, they could say, well you modified the car so that's why it broke, if it were to break...

I guess I'm just a bit scared, I had a bad experiance with a Mazda dealership not honoring my warranty after I installed a CAI, and I was only 20 at the time, and didn't know that they had to prove that my CAI would actually void said warranty, but now I'm just scared. I had a G6 before this car, and the motor blew up twice in it and I didn't even do anything to it, but the motor was replaced both times thanks to the warranty, but I wanted to do stuff to it so bad, but I didn't out of fear the dealership wouldn't help me with warranty stuff...so maybe I'll just stick with the Cat-back exhaust that the dealership installed and my intake which I will be able to swap out if it needs warranty work...

it won't as it does not effect any sensors on the car or the engine itself. The only thing they could void is the OEM Ypipe it replaced which is somewhat redundant since it's not on the car anymore anyways

it will lower the tone slightly at idle, but barely noticable. Higher RPMS will increase volume a bit but nothing drastic, just a little more 350Z like

PRE CATS and test pipes are in the works now. Springs are also in testing along with rear camber and extra chassis bracing
