Hey guys,
I'm new to the site so please forgive my lack of knowledge. I just bought my 2010 Altima Coupe 3.5 SR and I'm totally hooked. I went to the dealership intending to buy a 370Z. I even test drove it. But when I saw the Coupe in the showroom it was love at first sight. Sure, the Z is fast. But the Altima Coupe just has so much personality and style. So, what I'm looking for are suggestions on how to get the most "bang for my buck" on performance accessories. I'm not so much interested in flashy stuff as I am in making it faster and handle better (not that it doesn't already). I don't want to go crazy on it. I just want to coax a few more horses out of it without breaking the bank. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I'd rather spend money on handling than increasing speed. It's not worth the money for the insignificant amount of hp you get out of the minor performance mods. Unless you're considering boosting it =]

Thanks for the input. Maybe I will start with handling. What is "boosting it" anyway?

rear swaybar for sure. y-pipe, exhaust, springs (though coilovers would be better and probably break your bank), intake and BullyDog tuner.

What do you guys consider to be breaking the bank cause to me, exhaust and intake combined is about the same as coilovers unless I'm just looking at overpriced ones.

Dropping it is the first mod you should consider. Improves handling greatly and gives it a far better look.

After that in order... sway bar/endlinks>bullydog>ypipe>exhaust>wheels/tires>pulley>etc>etc

Thanks. I have some dumb questions. I don't know what a bullydog or a ypipe is.

check out stillen.com and racinglineperformance.com for some parts. bullydog is a tuner you plug into your car to improve performance. y pipe is the piping before the exhaust which helps a lot in the power department, racingline makes it.
