Hello everyone,

I recently ordered a performance chip for my vehicle. They sent me 2 pictures of my vehicle and a site for installation insturctions. He says it's going to be harder since i don't have a iaf sensor? I have a 1992 Infiniti Q45

The 2 pictures he sent me where

And

And the installation website he gave me where http://installyourmodule.com/

Any suggestions would help greatly for me :)

Toss it or return for a refund.

The only thing that works is the modified ECU, like the NICO ECU.

he's right.

It's crap and will hurt your car more than help, you are a victim. Reading the directions, you're splicing into your MAF sensor connector? Bad idea ALLLLLLLL OVER THIS.

Throw it away or get your money back.

I would get a modified ECU however i don't want to drop $200+ on a new ecu if this module tends to work well..

Hate to seem negative........but....... :tisk:

Then why are you posting here??? :poke:
two members with..... oh I don't know......about 2900 posts between them, just gave you the facts....adamently.

And your response was......."if this thing tends to work well"

So, in searching the nico q45 forum, you found how many posts about successful chips 'working well'?
and you found how many posts about nico ecu working well

oh and you want us to help you wire the one that doesn't work.... :werd:

I'm just saying

Look, you are a newb, so read the previous posts and find out what works and what doesn't.

I can guarantee many of your mostly sacredly held misconceptions will be shattered. Start by reading every post by Q45tech.

And by the way, $200 for a reformatted ECU is way inexpensive.

Good man - right move. Also, if you are in person returning it, kick them in the nuts for selling such garbage.

On a similar tirade....

Seriously, I'm not knocking YOU but instead the industry that propagates this crap.

I mean - a cold air intake turbo, a performance modification chip....does anyone every think if such a $30 item that is so easy to install adds 30hp, is 100% safe for the vehicle, and INCREASES fuel efficiency - WHY WOULD THE VEHICLE MANUFACTURER NOT INCLUDE IT AT THE FACTORY???

WHY??????????

It seems obvious because it is - all of those items are garbage. Done deal.

I was really hoping this was a thread for someone to install a NICO ECU..

I am not tooting my own horn, but the Q/VH45 guys are lucky that someone is around to offer a reprogrammed chip for $250.. Most are double or triple that.

Yeah - let me clarify I wasn't talking about any reprogrammed ECU's, lest of all yours Wes. That's a great service to the VH45 guys.

I mean the chinese plastic crap that glows neon and "installs in seconds."
