I am looking to install some headers, a new exhaust system and an underdrive pulley on my 350... any recommendations on a good set up that will give a good performance boost but not completely break my bank??

Thanks

Search the internet and find the brands that you want to buy. I can recommend to you two exhausts that In my opinion exceed all others, the HKS Hi-Power Catback Exhaust and the Invidia N1 Race Exhaust. Also Stillen makes good exhausts along with apex'i and turboxs. For headers I would recommend either greddy or stillen. But search around for the best prices. The following sites are great sites to buy parts from:http://www.stillen.comhttp://www.option ... osport.com

Good luck.

there no reason to buy headers unless your pushing some serious power. I would get a plenum spacer instead.

Ok this is really not me to say something like this but i am seeing this a lot lately. Sorry NEW GUY but you should read the stuck thread titled 350Z FAQ & General Information. You'll find information on performance mods, plenum spacers, and basically everything, as a noob, that you need to know. I normally don't want to shout NOOB but in this case i realize no one is reading anything in that thread so there fore from here on out i will leave this message... But feel free to ask as many questions about anything after that. Even if there is something you don't understand in there that you read... Thanks Much,-Ryan

And also before all of the spacer and bigger plenums are recommended, it depends on which Z he has, the Rev-Up motor doesn't need it and the HR doesn't need it....

The intake plenum is a good mod to start off with. They usually result in 2-5hp and 2-6 ft-lbs of torque. This was a dyno test that was conducted, a catback exhaust and an intake brought the car up from 220hp to 228. Then an plenum spacer was added and the hp gain was only 2hp and 4 ft-lbs of torque.

Get the intake plenum spacer since it does give you a small amount of hp and torque then go with a header, since they usually give around 8-15hp.
