My G looooks stock for now, im all about performance. Why do some people make there ride LOOK fast but in reality they are s-l-o-w, little or no mods under the hood?!? Thats just backwards to me. At any rate, I really want rims tho Soooooooo, im open for some good ideas!!

Unless you plan on going FI, I wouldn't get the Kinetix intake...just do a plenum spacer. Next, I'd go with either the JWT or Stillen intake with the Z-tube. After those mods, exhaust should be next. I've heard that the Injen has an annoying drone at highway speeds...you may want to look at Stillen or HKS.

You may also want to look into a Grounding Kit (especially if you have AT) Engine dampner(I'll be doing this) maybe a sway bar as well.

Stock grounds are tiny. Aftermarket grounding kits use 3 or more grounding points to make your electronics move more smoothly and it helps with response.

Improves throttle response in shifting.

Pulley's will also free up some lower end HP and torque.

Why only lower end?

They should free up power throughout the RPM range. Rotating mass doesn't know if you're at 2k RPMs or at 6kr RPMs does it?

The likelihood is that you'll feel it more in the lower RPMs because there is less power being produced.

Or you could email me and I could ship you a higher quality grounding kit that's made for you car instead (with 4 gauge wires!!!). And it'll probably cost less.

Yes Nathaniel, that is what I meant. Pretty much everyone who did this mod claimed they could really feel the difference in the lower RPM range.

Sorry... I forgot that you get pretty technical.

I've got my preparation H, no hurt butt here

I just wanted to make sure the OP knew that the gains should be through the whole RPM range, unlike some other mods that are only a true benefit in the low end or high end.

OP is original poster

I say go for either Stillen (they had a sale a couple weeks ago it was $69.

But I hear that Grounding Gear is also an excellent choice.

Go here zerothread/323287

Also, if you take a look through our FAQ sticky... it will probably help to answer ANY question you may ever have.. I have no idea why people don't go there first..
