I dont have access to the net all the time so I cant find what Im looking for when I have the time, but I read some where that when beefing up the power I might wanna look into replacing the stock crank but I cant find a performance crank for the KA? Where can I find one or do aftermarket manufactures make one?

I have a guy that stays across the street from me, he's rebulding a motor in his car and I told him that I wanna turbo out my KA so he asked me what size pistions I want I told him that I wasnt sure if I wanna go 20 over or 40 over but he said go 40 over because theres not point in going 20 over if you are going to put a turbo in it? so what should I do?

Im looking at a few turbos but I cant really decide on what size I want a real nice turbo. I was looking at a T28 and a Garrett T40 I think. But I heard that A guy had a T67 on an SR? so what would be good?

Never heard of anyone putting an aftermarket crank in their KA. Never seen the stock crank become an issue, either. They are forged from the factory and dont generally break unless something else is terribly wrong.

.020" over is the gold standard for aftermarket pistons in built KA-T motors. .040" over is a custom size (while .020" is off the shelf for most companies), and probably not reccomended anyways since the tolerances are close between cyls in these motors. The purpose of overboring here is not to gain displacement, but simply to get a fresh wall for the new rings. A lot of domestic guys dont seem to understand that haha.

Good luck!

.040 isn't going to gain much displacement anyways....

As for the turbo question... You have to decide how much power you want. Different turbos support different power levels and different driving styles..
