Hey guys,

I've been a member on this forum for a few years but usually just logged in to see what's new. I've been at school and away from my coupe for a while so I never really posted anything. However, now I'm starting to do actual work to it. I’ll post a thread with all the mods I’ve done when I reach a certain point and tie up some loose ends.

I’m in the market for some coilovers and was wondering which brand is the most “performance oriented.” I’m aware that coilovers can’t defy the unfortunate physics of our car, but I want to make it handle as well as possible. I’m not concerned with how low they go and ride quality isn’t that important to me either.

I was looking into the Tein Street Advance but I’m not sure if it’s the best for what I’m looking for. I also ordered a bunch of Racingline suspension parts to go with whatever coilovers I buy.

Any help/input would be greatly appreciated.

2.5 or 3.5 TEIN could do for 3.5
By far most tuner communities and enthusiasts I know they always recommend BC coilovers. Do it nice or do it twice

I have a 3.5. However, I eventually decided to go with the Tein coilovers anyway. I know a few people who have the BC BRs and they said that the upper pilllow ball begins to clunk and make strange noises after a while. I can't say anything about the install quality, but I've yet to hear any complaints about the quality of Teins.

True! Tein is nice for sure! And it's more bang for the buck comparing with BC,D2, and KSport!
Since you have 3.5, go for it!
