performance chips?

Im trying to get a little more power from my 99 G20.....anybody used these $70 performance chips that are out there? they say they will give 40-50 more HP....If these arent legit where would you recommend i get a CAI? Thanks

No such thing as a real perfomance chip for a 99 G20 as far as I know. Only thing I've seen that sounds like what you are talking about are those fake ebay gimics which I would never trust. Anyways you do have some options if you do wanna be able to get a tune on a G20. I know you could redo the wiring harness and run a 95-97 B14 sentra/200sx ecu then get that chipped by Jim wolf technology or you may be able to find a used calum b14 basic or realtime ecu I see them time to time on the sr20forum classifieds. As for somewhere to get a cold air intake i'd say if they have it http://www.thmotorsports.com/ is the best. They have really good prices and free shipping on orders over $100.

Yeah, don't believe anything that says 40-50 hp from just a chip on a stock car (on an engine with that low displacement anyway). The Ebay jokes are just that... jokes.
