IMO it's a bit too soon for anyone to have hacked the G37 ECU to create a performance chip (and I do not see any online yet). If anyone has any details on one, LMK.

Pretty much it's a known as a drop-resistor mod. It's a resistor that is installed to make the computer think the intake air temp is lower or that more air is coming in than there really is. Thus it will add timing and potentially give you a few ponies. BUT, it can also cause knocking, lean/rich conditions and such which can hurt performance (among other things) as it reports the same resistance for all RPM ranges.

For $10 bux (and shipping, so 15-20 bux) you get maybe .99 cents worth of resistors (and maybe a plastic box) and a piece of paper telling you where to put them.

yea nothing out yet for the hr engine. cobb just released a tune for the 04-06 G's just a fyi so pretty much took 2 years for something to come up and now they are working on our engines probly a year or so. i keep calling them to make them hurry

Yeah i want the cobb accessport for my year aswell. And yeah Stay away from crap with unrealistic claims on ebay. You have an expensive car. If you are going to mess with the computer do it right.
