I am very new to this site so if this has already been addressed then I am truely sorry. Obviously I have an '03 M45 and I was just hoping to get a little bit more power out of it and I was wondering if there is some chip or tuner that I can plug into the ECU. I have briefly tried looking for some on the net but I have had no luck. Anything??

welcome to NICO!!!

Heres the short answer: OBDII is very advanced compared to OBDI, so generally speaking, "ECU chips" dont do as much as they did on the older ones... They dont really add HP, they just make the drive by wire throttle opening steeper...

The ECU's use non-reprogrammable microprocessors, not regular EEPROMs, so you cant realyl redo the ECUs anyway, from a hardware standpoint...
