Has anyone herd of performance chips direct? They have a chip for sale that is $80, and claims that it will add 28 horsepower on my 03 350z! Can someone please tell me if they are legit or just trying to hustle people out or their money!

LOL no. It's not really a scam, but all chips do is richen your fuel and give you a slight tune. Go get a real computer upgrade.

Also, wrong section.

Those "chips" are the biggest scam. If you're buying it off eBay look at the sellers feedback.

You can buy the same little resistor from any Radio Shack for around $2.00 if I remember right.

No, resistors don't work on modern equipment. Your information is dated.

Be careful what you buy on the internet, especially Ebay. Look at the seller feedback and investigate the seller before you make a purchase. There are alot of scammer, fakes and jokes out there. The performance chips I don't like at all, seems all good to be true and fishy at the same time. Good luck!

Yes I have all the way to stage 3 and I brought my car to the dyno and it gained 92 hp and 35 mph on the top end so I found they do work. They're easy to install and it took 45 min to install all three stages. It's not a scam I've had mine for 4 months now and I check out everything on my engine weekly and it doesn't do any damage to anything that I have found. So it's a good deal, it's up to you to do what you want, this is just my opinion.

I gotta see these dyno sheets....

So by adding 92 hp to an EX, does that put you above 200 crank yet?
