the 2nd one states it will work off the OBD-II port. Technical Nissan's have a consult port III. It has change through the years, but under the dash on the driver is where the port resides. However, it is the same shape and pin layout as an ODB-II. I have not found any documentation to say that it is backwards compatible. Older generation of the consult weere not standard. I have checked the shop manual, and it does state of ODBII works with the consult port. When I get some time I will try my ODBII scanner on the port see if it get output.
Also, I would rather have a piggy back ECU and a tune on a dyno. Having something like a PowerFC that lets you have multiple tunes so you can have a performance mode and a save gas mode etc. If you goto a good tuner that you trust, you will probably get better results. The problem with reflashes is they are not perfect, and try to give a general solution.
