Yes I clicked the search button, but I didn't find out my question...

I was wondering if anyone knew of a good company to buy (modify) an ECU with a performance chip for my '98 KA24DE.

Does anyone have one on this site?

Was it worth it?

Jim Wolf Technology can mod your ECU for $500, or you can tune it yourself for a lot less than that, and have a better tune.

I have an idea...I am building an sr for my swap..98 240(OBD2) But I live in MD and the emissions are scanable....soo that is a problem. I could get it tested on the ka then swap, but then 2 years later i need to swap back to the ka...but if i could get a stock ka ecu and have it programmed to send to right numbers to the obd2 scanner(emissions only) then I would be set. Get power to the ecu make sure the ecu can send the scanner power, and have the ecu send the right voltages....man i would be set, and the obd2 240's are safe for emissions.....hmmmm anyone up to the challenge?(I might end up trying it myself)....

Those on ebay are copied free base tunes, stray away, you will have better luck talking to people familiar with the nissan ecu tuning, and going from there.
