PERFORMANCE CHIP have you used one of these???

I have an 06 M35x with a Fujita air intake and Stillen exhaust. I saw this "chip" on e-bay. From what I can see it tricks the ECM into a lean condition and gives it more fuel. Has any one used one of these or anything like it? With the upgrades I already have would this thing make the AFM go nuts? The things is only $29.99 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...wItem

It's a worthless resistor that does absolutely nothing. This is a pay to play hobby and "you get what you pay for" was never truer.

I've never tried this device, but sounds dubious to me.

Here is my take on these things1) If it sounds to good to be true, it is.2) Ford Motor Company is losing like a billion dollars a month. They employ thousands of engineers among others. If they were searching ebay for fun and found this item that gives better performance or especially BETTER GAS MILEAGE, they would buy that thing and have them installed within a week in every car they make. They would be outselling most cars on the market based on crazy high gas milage. The company would be saved.

Hate to be synical, but I learned my lesson about #1 the hard way.... a couple of times.
