Hey guys, I was watching one of the Spike TV performance shows when they showcased this company from Indiana that does performance air suspension kits for muscle cars (on the show at least). I checked out their site and apparently they also make kits for the 240sx. My question then is this: has anyone used an air suspension kit for a street car? If so how do they perform? From what I saw on the show, the '60s and '70s muscle cars handled like new sportscars with the suspension setup.

Just a though.

Here's the link to their site: http://www.kmwperformance.com

That's pretty bitchin'. I also heard about Air Ride Technologies and actually I believe it was they and not KMH that did the Horsepower TV show. Either way, it's interesting to look at these performance air systems versus a traditional coilover.

So is it just an airbag that sits like a spring or does it inflate and deflate and whatnot?

that might be something I'll look into when it comes time to change my suspension. A lot of speedbumps where I drive so it would be nice to just jack the car up when I need it and drop it down when i'm just cruising.

it will hold up to whatever you want it tothey are badass bags, and have a 3 year i believe warranty of poping as long as ther eis no sign of rubbing

i believe the kit i can get is 2500, has bags, lines, wiring, plug and play, with the easystreet digital leveling systemi went oldschool and kept switches so itd be cheaper.

plus coilovers...doesnt really matter which ones, they will blow eventually anwaysksport or megan shine here.

Well if the job situation deems me baller enough to get the SuperMade this summer I'll be looking to you to hook me up with some air then Grant. I need to do your wheel thing over on Zilvia too when I can afford some Vienna's.

Now, back to discussing... air gets you so low... it can't be beat, ultimate wheel whoring begins confetti rains down and girls will flock to you end of story.

Highly interested, just wondering what kind of bags, how bigs the compressor and tank....range of travel? looks pretty long since your tires lift off, did you remove your fender liners to get the tuck........or do you have a pic of the setup not installed..

thanks, Mike

I don't think the wheels are lifted off the ground. He might be on the rails though.
