Does anyone know of a shop in the Hillsboro/Beaverton/Portland area that will install aftermarket perfomance parts for an '01 Infiniti QX4? Or any recommendations on a reliable site to order parts? I'm having a hell of a time trying to order even a cold air intake. I've seen some janky "supercharger" kits but they all look super cheap. I'm looking for a few extra HP's and maybe a little help on gas mileage with a perfomance chip. My mechanic has recommended I stear clear of any modifications as these rigs seem to be high maitenance as it is... Any ideas??

performance chips and janky "superchargers" are both scams so no. Maybe an ecu reflash or a piggyback ecu but no performance chip will help at all. Trust me I tried one.

Intake I tried K&N and it was pretty good. Others here have a JMF (Jim Wolf Technology) pop charger instead.
Besides intake, custom exhaust setups help a little as well.

There are not much performance mods for these SUVs.
By the way, welcome to Nico Club!

Cool, much thanks. Shops here in Oregon seem to shun the idea of tweaking QX4's, even the local Infiniti dealership. I'm not sure that I can order a K&N intake specifically for my ride. Do you happen to know if a Nissan setup will fit or would it need some adjusting?
