Hey guys, I was just surfing the net and came across this Import Intelligence's Perfect Launch system. I just want to do if anyone has it and if it works well.

ITS NOT WORTH IT IN MY OPINION BECAUSE YOU CAN DO THE SAME THING IF YOU KNOW THE FOOTWORK.

This is what the website said.

"When the launch button is pressed and the clutch is depressed the user has the capability of flooring the car without blowing up their engine. The Launch System prevents the car from reaching it's normal RPM limit keeping engine parts in check. When the launch system is activated air will flow through the engine as if you were flooring it during normal driving. Air flow means turbos spooling which results in instant power gain off the line. Our test vehicle pulled over 10psi at with the Perfect Launch system set at 4400rpm."

ITS A REV LIMITER BASICALLY, IF IT FAILS TO DISENGAGE IT COULD BE A CATASTROPHIE. YOU CAN DO THAT BY HOLDING A SPECIFIC RPM BEFORE RELEASING THE CLUTCH.

its not possible to get boost from that, the engine has to be under load not just cutting spark or fuel at wide open throttle.

Yes it is possible. This is how all of the pro fwd and rwd turbo cars come off the line at close to full boost. Also 2-steps i beleive retard the timing or take timing all the way out so that more heat is generated and then it spools the turbo to a higher boost level. Im pretty sure thats how most 2-steps work.

thats an oooold system drag cars use it. i have a friend that runs domestic drag cars and he has a button he holds that locks his front brakes, engages a rev limiter at a specific rpm, then when he lets go, it releases the brakes, turns off the rev limiter and puts his car in drive. a monkey could do it. all he has to do is hold down the gas and let go of the button.
