I just bought one from my local Autozone in hopes of being able to fit a 3" cone filter over my MAFS. The brand is Spectre Industries, p/n 8141 w/ 3" inlet. Even though it says on the back of the package that it is compatible for 91-34 240sx's, it really is not. The universal holes will not mate up to my MAFS! I've noticed that many of the turbo conversions done on the KA place the MAFS onto the turbo inlet w/ a cone filter attached to the inlet of the MAFS itself.

What brand are these adapters and where can I get one?

I am currently using my stock MAFS set up.

Well assuming your still using the stock intake for now. Take off the Top part which the MAFS is connected to, then you drill out the rivets and you have your self an adapter. Hard to explain without pictures. maybe someone else will chime in.

yea if you want take the air filter box apart the is a metal piece drill out the rivots. Take that and bolt it to the maf then slide your air cone filter in to the metal piece. You might have to put a piece of duct tape on the rubber coupler one time around or so to make it snug and you should be good to go.

I just bought a MAF adapter from a NICO member. I was tempted to try the DIY airbox adapter, but I chickened out. As Virus said, you can always drill your own holes.

I actually thought about doing that. Almost like a DIY Venturi intake (i.e. popcharger).
