"NEED INPUT!!!!"

I am in the process of gathering information for some friends of mine at a large after market production company from Japan.

I am not at liberty to discuss who they are but the are very interested in producing Ka24de parts for the U.S market s chassis community.

The stuff includes things like engine parts and turbo kits.

Please answer the poll with your interest and add any input you feel necessary.

Thank you for your time, any input is very appreciated.:dblthumb:

I selected only SR20det because that's what I currently have. I wouldn't mind KA24det parts, but that's not what I'm working on right now. I'm all for seeing more parts for KA24det though.

I would much perfer a turbo'd KA than an SR. Alot of people choose the SR because its turbo'd from the factory and drops right and with a japanese look. When I get another 240, I hope I will be making better money to make a good standing, and torquey, streetable KA-T.

I preferred my SR over my KA-T... but that was because back when I had my KA-T there were no kits or parts off the shelve. In other words, it was totally custom and was a pain for what it was worth. But now adays, I would probably consider a KA-T since it's pretty much well documented and readily available in regards to parts and kits.

There are a few kits out there for the KA, but it's usually cheaper to piece together your own kit. You can get quality parts individually and have a very reliable setup.

Downpipe on a top mount setup is really the only benefit of a kit (if it includes it).

I'd be interested in parts for a KA-T, especially with a full build. For me, reliability is key. Once I get my 350z sold, I have hopes of building a daily drivable, 300+ whp KA-T. A kit might make it easier, as opposed to having to piece on together....well depending on price.

Thanks for the responses thus far. I am just gathering the data for company that can not be named at this time, I have gotten good information from the members of zilvia, but I know that one forums members are not better than others, I just want the opinion of s chassis enthusiast.
Part would include more cam and pulley and engine options as well as the companies tried and true turbo setups.
I am excited about this and wanted to see what other people thought as well.

KA, gotta love those long rods and cam in buckets.

Perfect recipe for a high RPM build.
