I'm looking at either 962 or 941 18" rims for the tib, just to clean up the looks (I've got badly curb rashed 16's [previous owner did it] on it right now). I want to make sure they are lighter then stock.

The stock 17" are 22lbs, and the 16's at 25lbs"

So if anyone could just give the officail weights not just say they are going to be heavy, that would be great.

I'm not paying $250-300 a rim on a car that is my daily driver and will not be seeing the track.

Sorry about the bad posting I humbly hope you can forgive me.

So does anyone have any official weights for the 18x7.5" rims?

Have you checked the manufacturers website? No one knows more about sportmax then the guys who make them.

If its not on their website, give them a call... They like selling their product.

If they won't give you the time of day, call one of the larger distributes. They should have that kinda info, and if they have them in stock they should be willing to toss one on a scale.

I believe when I had the 17x7 / 17x9 combo they were 25lb and 26.5lbs respectively. So you can figure more than that, heavy as hell.

sportmax isnt the end all when it comes to cheap wheels...theres better lighter wheels out there for around the same price, at least check into MB's or something
