People with B&M shifters.did you have this problem

I'm having trouble getting the little white plastic piece to fit into the transmission. I'm almost 100% positive its lining up with the hole, but it's just not going in. Did you guys have the same problem? Anybody use the plastic piece form the stock shifter on the B&M?

I tried using alittle force but didn't want to try to hard and break something. It got dark so i gave up for today and just put the stock shifter back, which went in easily,I'll give the B&M another go tomorrow.

yeah, also, sometimtes the little bushings cross shaped things arent lining up JUST right, and can cause problems....

Well i finally got it in with a minute or two of wiggling this morning. Once i got it lined up right it just fell right in.

So for others' future reference the little plastic piece fits, you shouldn't have to use force to get it in there. Just take the time to line it up. This thing is awsome to.:ylsuper

my B&M shifter rattles like crazy at high RPMs, the bottom part of the shifter thats in the transmission. Does anyone elses do this? anyway to stop this? Thanks
