Okay, I'm sure this topic has been beaten to death, but everytime I search for solutions, I get assumptions and people that have heard things that may work.I have an SSAC Topmount manifold and a Hot Shot topmount manifold as well as a T3/T04E 60 trim turbo.

I can't mount weither either manifolds because I can't clear the Brake Booster.

I have a 5spd Manual W/ ABS. This is the "bigger" of the two versions.

Now, I don't want people saying "i've heard you can run a non ABS 5Spd one and it will work."

I'm hoping someone has actually installed a topmount with our without modifications to the Brake system. If you have no touched your BMC and Brake Booster, what Manifold did you use?

If you have modified your MBC or Brake booster, what did you do exactly and what manifold are you using?

What are my options? I don't want to spend $800+ to get a full race manifold and such.

Thanks in advance

Those manifolds are crap and willl break or crack. Stop being stupid and buy a good Top mount setup.

Here give this guy a shout he works out of his garage he makes Top Mount manifolds that are identical to Full race down to the materials.

Those are reserved for bottom mounters.

I agree, the manifolds the OP is refering to are crap, but does this guy you referred him to have a robotic Tig welder in his garage? That's what Full-Race uses to weld their manifolds if I'm not mistaken.

You dont need a robotic tig welder to get great welds..... The ebay crappy manifolds are infact mig welded and then give a tig pass at the end to pass off quality welds.....

All those manifolds are hand welded and they are beautiful. Ive had mine on for 3 or 4 months and not a signle crack or problem. He uses the same companies for his materils this includes both flanges and pipes. The pipes are 16 gauge Stainless steel and the flanges are all CNCd extra thick flanges. Heres pics of my manifold.

I had him weld extra supports on but he said it really wasnt nessesary. I see what he means when I got the manifold. Its heavy duty.
