I just install my fidanza flywheel tonight, redtop motor. It was a pain in the balls first of all and I was just wondering if anyone else had trouble getting theirs to go on the hub of the crankshaft. I had it in the oven for 10 min at 300 degrees. Also how far onto the hub did yours go. I still have a quarter inch before it is flush, is this seated all the way?

I put mine on cold with an impact gun then a torque wrench. can't remember how much room there was.... I didn't really worry about it, I just torqued the bolts a little at a time till I had it seated.

Sorry that dosn't help you much.... maybe it'll help a future installer heh.

i did the same, and had my mechanic check it out, he said it was fine. i didnt really measure the gap or anything, but it was alittle different.
