Recently I posted that I was semi-depressed that I couldn't find another s chassis in the area... (I finally found one though)

But, people posted that I shouldn't be depressed about it because I should get off my as* and look for one... And they didn't quite understand why I was depressed...

Well, as I drove past the car that has been making me depressed, I decided to stop and take pictures to show you guys why...

This s14 Kouki has been sitting in the same spot for over a month and rumor tells a story of a blown clutch...

It's covered with dust... But here it is...

I know the pics are semi-s***ty.. But I snapped them with my LG Vu...

Anyways... The car belongs to a guy named Larry... There are some videos of him on YouTube drifting at BeaveRun race track...

Also, the person who told me the clutch blew out of this car stated that Larry is putting a "Corvette Clutch" in it... I looked away from him knowing that he didn't quite know what he was talking about... The car has a sr in it... He's talking about how this guy is going to put in a Corvette transmission and stuff in it...

I just kind of chuckled... But, that's my story...

10 minutes of my life, and your's... Wasted.

I dislike how he hacked, yes hacked, the front bumper out to let the intercooler "breathe" more.

People have put t56 (corvette c5 transmission) onto sr20's...Also, if he is going LSx he would put a t56 on.

So it sounds like YOU don't know what your talking about.

Not sure, definitely need an adapter plate and maybe weld some stuff in the old transmission bellhousing. Search, there are definitely build threads with this around the internet. Here, I will help you out.http://tinyurl.com/cqjzqt

Anyone hacking up the bumper is a tool. It's stupid. There's not gonna be that much airflow to the IC. Looks like thrown together crappy car - he can't afford a clutch? And why it quit anyways? Sometimes a gem is just a simple rock. ;]

now now... i know this sr is far from stock...

at least he doesn't have crazy stupid "aero" all over it...

people say he's fairly skilled with drifting... but, i don't know personally...

and he's had the sr'd kouki for years now...

sorry for double post...

but, this thread is about how i am angered by the fact that i can't find the 240 i'm looking for... i'm not much of a settler...

the pictures were intended to show you what i see everyday while imagining what i'd like my project to be...

there's no need to be blatantly rude and obnoxious about it... and i understand there's really no particular need for me to post a thread like this...

but, i have seen much, much worse on a 240...
