ok so raise your hand if you've ever worked a job you hate. Well I really don't have it that bad i get to drive all day but someitmes the days just go to hell. I work for dominos delivering Pizza. Ok it isn'[t to bad i work with a good group of guys but i have a few beefs and after last night i gotta get them off my chest:

1) don't rob the pizza guy!! I come out of an apartment building and some guy jumps out of the freaking bushes with a handgun...ok pizza guys don't ever carry any money on them just for this reason! Not to mention the jerk had the luck to rob me on a credit card order so he only got the 15 i carry as change. Now here is a tip to all the future muggers out there, if your gonna rob me wear pants that allow you to run without you holding them up.

2) Tip the pizza guy! i mean seriously ok i understand some people really can't afford it but if you can't afford to give me like $2 then why are you ordering $30 in pizza. 30 cents is not a tip and $1.50 is really pathetic anytime i have anythign delivered the drivers going home with 3-4 dollars. O and the thing where you have a lexus or a mercedes in the driveway and then give me EXACT CHANGE!!! you better believe that gets noted in the customers saved data and we know.

3) people can't live on $4.25/hr

4)and finally what the hell is "excessive display of horsepower"...in a stock 240sx?

I know other people hate there jobs lets here it...

I don't really hate my job, but FWIW I always try to tip the pizza guy at least 20%. Work sucks...if it didn't, it wouldn't be work.

i've been driving at my delivery job for like 5 months now....i just got a small increase in power becuz the driver above me quite and i got the cool van, then BAM they re-hire an old employee and give her my van! they also think its ok to make me wait a year for a dollar raise, i could be slingin on the corner and make more in an hour. my friend got hired at in-n-out the same time i got hired, he makes more than i do after a couple months and by the time i get a raise he'll be manager, lol

i dont usually dont like driving, esp if its for a job. i mean wouldnt that take all the fun out of it by making it a job? then gas is a biatch too. i usually take teh bus to school, that way driving stays fun and not boring.

Heh. I know EXACTLY what you mean. I just (about amonth ago) quit my Pizza Hut job for a real one. Pizza delivery sucks ***. You make jack squat and the tips go straight back into the gas tank.

I did make minumum, though. But since the tips went back in the gas tank, I damn well better have!

Yeah, you have to make minimum, not matter what. Min wage w/ tips is still not much as a delivery boy. A good waitress can make alot of money though. If she's hot, fun, coutious, and doesn't **** up, she's gonna make bank even if her salary is min wage.

I WAS a delivery boy. It's why my ranger has so many miles on it.

The biggest tip I ever got was $30 bucks though. Off a $70 order. AND I screwed it up. Well...the cooks screwed it up. Other than that, an occasional $10 but mostly $3 or under. And just as often nothing.

It sounds good, and when I first started, I made quite a bit in tips. But for some reason, the tip size slowly decreased the longer I was there.

Dont do pizza delivery. Courier companies pay better. But that only really works in big cities, like LA.

Get a different job.

I generally tip well but it really depends on how fast I get the food and how pleasant the guy is. I always throw in a couple of extra bucks if it's inclimate weather.

My job's pretty cool. I sit on my *** and browse the web/chat on aim. Weeee
