This morning, on the way home from work, the weather was pretty bad. Thick fog. So thick that my car had a layer of frost deep enought to hide the dark paint.
I'm nearly home, and in the passing lane because no one else seems to have realized that the fog is gone for a while and is still going 45. I'm doing about 75. Then this car comes flying up behind me. I move over (it pisses me off to no end when people block the passing lane, so I don't do it to them), and the car goes flying past. I'm guessing its going 90, maybe a little faster.
But its not the speed that got me. Its the car itself. Its a rusted out Corsica (CAN be a good car) with a whole collage of body part colors. The right rear door is not closed all the way, and weather stripping is trailing from the door frame. And most frightening, the right rear tire is a DIFFERENT SIZE than all the rest. No, it wasn't a small spare. It was just a different sized wheel and tire combination than the other three. Holy crap! If the car was rear-drive, that would cause severe damage to the drivetrain, due to different rotational speeds.
People frighten me. A lot.
