Pending code....not erasing??

I had cleared the codes on my 97 nissan 240, stock ka. The code is for the egr vent circuit, and is the only one still pending. The thing that has me wondering, is its been 150 miles since the code was cleared and pending and still no CEL. Why is it taking so long to clear? Any help would be great.....I need to drive this car!! Prethanks, Nico

PO446 I beliveI can check tom morn, but it said emmission control vent circuit
