that looks like the apollo unit to me, or a copy of it atleast. And if it is, there have been a lot of people who have had problems with it or been dissatisfied and switched to other IC's

The quality of a lot of ebay products has greately improved over the times. That particular FMIC is acctually a decent deal. Good welds, solid build, internal fins, etc. For the price, why the hell not. To be honest with you, i acctually had an apollo (24x11x3.5) which had a hole in it (from a shop, i dont know how the **** they did it, but they did...looked like they swung a transmission into it or somethin), and bought that core (22x11x3) as the temporary replacement, and it has been working just as well (acctually better because slightly smaller...less lag) then the apollo. Im guessing with your HP level, the FMIC will be more for looks, but you will notice a certain level above the stock SMICs. Especially once you get into heat soak issues with the stockers...non existant with the FMIC.

thanx for the advice, actually its not really for show, tho i like how it looks, the reason im buying a frount mount is because the shopp im buying the engine from doesnt have the stock side mount ic's so they told me ima have to either buy them somewhere else or just get another ic, i figured why not just start with a front mount and save the trouble of having to upgrade later u know.

Yeah I hear ya, I don't frequent JDMSC much any more either. Nice group of people, but super slow boards.

Hope to see you posting alot around here and being active. Its good to have you around!
