Since the Full-Race thread has been thoroughly ignored, I went ahead and e-mailed Peak-performance and asked them about their specs and what their group buy pricing is. They are currently out of stock, but will order more as demand goes up.

Here is the e-mail I received from him tonight:

"the manifold is a T4 with external gate, the (dump) pipe is 1 5/8 tubing. the thickness of the manifold is 2mm, we haven't had any problems with the manifold, we have sold over 20 units. the only guarantee is a 3 month. (I asked him about cracking) If you can get 10 people to buy, i will do them for $700 each. I don't think anyone else has this manifold."

C'mon! Speak up! Let's get this going.

lol RB owners liek cheap stuff, thats why we swap and dont own skylines !!! seriously, its extremely hard to find stuff, i mean there is no middlewhere, u either pay 150 off ebay or 2k from fullrace the rb26 has more selections but 26 owners are scarce thats why i bought the RIPS manifold adapters

From what I remember the peak manifold looked the same as the Wasabi manifold which only cost around $500. I'd bet it came from the same manufacturer too.I'm down for a manifold but I wouldn't pay $700 for that one.

yes you are correct same looking manifolds only difference is the welds between the 2 if you get the ebay manifold just pay a shop to re-weld it to make it hold more

eh? You are too smart for school! <What my uncles used to say to me. > I looked up the Wasabi Garage manifold and they are identical to the Peak-Performance manifold.

From the gap between the full-race and wasabi/peak manifolds, it appears that there's considerable market potential for a middle of the road, quality manifold that is not necessarily equal length or tuned, but is sound in fundamental design.

I posted up this last yearhttp://forums.nicoclub.com/zerothread?id=194987http://www.a-spectuning.com/ht...4.htm

It's a good looking manifold. Turbo is brought foward and will probably have no problems fitting most or all mounting setups.I'm too far away to do anything. If someone is local to them they could maybe set up a group deal.

I'm about ->| |<- close to just ordering the wasabi manifold. Hell I just emailed them.

ide love to see some middle ground type stuff out there for the rb25, quality is quality but it sucks that your either $200 for cheapy stuff or almost $1000 for the other option.

whatever you guys do, dont get the ebay topmount manifolds. i bought one thinking ill reinforce it before i mount it. with my GT35R sitting on it, the turbo hits the valve cover. not just a little bit. with the manifold all the way bolted down, if i had the valve cover off the car, the turbo would hit the cam. i tried to stick a stock turbo on the top mount to see if it fits, and even that turbo hit the valve cover
