What kinda gain's did you see from this? Also are there any other cam's out there for the ka24de? Thanks for the help.

JWT have cam's with adjustable gears, good for tunning your dohc to retard or advance timing.

$600 is an awful lot of pizza.

I'm very interested in the new cams from PDM myself. I figure that since I've spent thousands of dollars at Don's shop, surely a couple hundred more wouldn't hurt!

I did want to know if it's still possible to get regrinds though, as $350 is a lot cheaper than $600!! If I find out tonight, I'll let everyone know......assuming you're interested!

They almost certainly still re-grind. Even more interesting would be to get a new cam with a custom grind. Particularly for those with a turbo setup running a PR of more than 2

I am currently waffling between the JWT or PDM cams, i have the JWT cam gears, allong with Ti retainers and silica valve springs..I'm inclinded to go with JWT since I know them, and the guys that willb e tuning the car ahve experience with them..

(and so they'll tell me where to set the dmaned cam gears after the cam install!)

*shrug*

cost is the same..-chet

JWT are not regrinds, they start with a new billet cam, and grind it to there spec. They will just drop into the head with out any modifications.

PDMs SOHC cams are all regrinds requiring the towers to be milled.

PDMs new DOHC cams are new billet cams, then ground down to the specs they want. The will just drop into the head with out any further modification. There old DOHC regrinds needed to have new shims installed to take up the changes in the cam profile.

Some cams would be nice but $600! I'm not sure if 11 hp is worth $600 especially since you lose lower to mid power too. Think I'll just save twice that much and get a stand alone for an extra 40hp.

JWT sohc cams are teh gay. They barley even increase lift and reduce duration on the intake side
