pcv valve

i know the part number for the pcv valve is bosch PCV142 but ive been searching and cant find one dose anyone know where i can get one i searched the internet and local parts store i cant find one and is that correct one for the driver side valve cover mines been missing since i got the motor any help would be greatly appreciated

Tell them you have a 1989 Nissan Pulsar NX SE.

i welded mine up, you dont need it, get a blanking plug for it

when I welded mine up it created big issues with HUGE smoke at idle.

Intake and exhaust valve cover breathers to a crankcase evac system, PCV welded shut = massive smoke at idle.

i did and it was the wrong one i use to work at the parts store so ive been through them all none match

thats wierd, my pulsar motor and the silvia motor i have shared the same pcv. Make sure when the pulsar is looked up they arent selecting the ga16i motor.

I second the pulsar nx se pcv valve... I work at checker and the fram one I bought fit perfect first try.

i use to work at autozone and i couldnt get it to work and was it the one on the driver or passenger side valve cover

What is this "pcv" thing you all speak of? I have never seen such a thing!

WTF are you talking about? The PVC valve is screwed into the back of the intake manifold.

Get pics of what you think the PCV valve is.

its not really the pcv valve but the venthole for the valve covers

Holy crap. That's NOT the same thing. Those aren't a separate part. I've seen them come out, just JB Weld them back in. If you lost it, you'll have to source another valve cover.

ohh ok thanks ya when i got my swap it was missing wheres the pcv valve located

Under the intake manifold at the front of the engine.

On the back of the intake manifold.... It screws into the intake, and has a hose coming off of the valve cover that clamps on to it.
