My RB20 PCV valve seems to leak a little when pressurized beyond 5psi. I would like to replace it with a new one that seals 100% (if this is even possible). However I can't seem to find the part number or a suitable replacement anywhere. Anyone have a PN or some suggestions?

I picked up a PCV valve for another Nissan motor... It has a check valve, it threads in alright, but leaks horribly (even worse than my stocker) under boost. I can't remember if it was for the VG30DETT or not, it was just some non-oem autozone trash.

A possible solution I thought of is to remove the PCV valve and block the hole with a bolt/plug then run the PCV lines to a catch can then to the inlet pipe post-maf/pre-turbo. This should accomplish crankcase ventilation, although it'll have a lot less vac than it would have behind the TB.

Thanks in advance...

Well you don't NEED vacuum. As long as your not pressurizing your crankcase.Drag cars run vacuum pumps to squeeze a little power out. I belive it reduces wind resistance or something.

Google it if your interested in it.
