pcv valve location

OK, this sounds like a dumb question but where is the pcv valve on a 91 ka24de. This should be easy to find and I even have a shop manual but I can't find it anywhere. Shop manual says it is on the front or side of the intake air collector . I assume this is up stream of the throttle body but none of the vauum hoses have the pcv valve. Are they talking about the intake manifold? Could it have been removed? Iv'e been working on cars and bikes for years so I'm not as dumb as this question sounds.

That valve is located in a terrible spot. Wait till you start removing it.You gonna wish you never asked..lol
