I trying to locate pcv valve on 2000 altima for a friend. Thanks

you'll eventually find it visually. then you'll wonder how in blazes to extract it.

hint: it's under the #1 intake runner. the trick is to unbolt the PS pump bracket and reposition the pump to get at it.

there is no other way.

According to Haynes repair manual 93-2001 :Its located at the drive belt end of the motor, under the intake manifold, and attatched the the breather separator.Access is very difficult from the top.

From the pic it shows a tube going into one end, and the pcv valve is screwed into a small box (breather separator)

it would be wise to get it from the bottom.
