So this year I decided that eliminating the pcv ports in the bottom of the intake was a good idea dont ask me why. My question is can i take the fitting off the pcv box by the water outlet on the timing cover and just route that o a catch can? Also what else should run to the catch can? I searched but the search function is being gay right now.

ok riddle me this. Can i take a vacuum source that im using for the brake booster, but a one way check valve in it such as the GNX valve and T it into two for the PCV and the brake booster. I only ask because io have already had the ports on the intake manifold welded shut and a custom intake manifold made that will have the large port that was intended for the brake booster vacuum

yes you can, what i did exactly but i didnt use the gnx valve, just replaced the stock ka pcv valve on the block. a gnx will be more protection, a month or more back i checked the line going to brake booster from the catch can and it did have any residue. the catch had it all. my next catch can will be for the valve cover but i might just get the "breather on top of catch can" kinda setup for it. i only had a breather filter on it, motor is toast, collecting parts for rebuild. u could even consider one of those vacuum blocks and use one of the connections for scavenging the crankcase.

all the pcv needs is a suction source... a good one way valve and a can to collect all the crap into.
