This is going to be a stupid question but here it goes. Where is the pcv valve located? Just got the car yesterday and wanted to do a minor tune-up, its got 109000 miles on it, but I have looked all over the motor and couldn"t find it, I'm probably just blind. I am also trying to find some tech manuals if anyone knows where I can find them. Thanks, Keith

I'm not sure, but check your breather openings on your intake manifold.

I think it's on the lower back of the engine, and is supposedly a major pain to replace.

It is a major pain to replace. In the FAQ page of 240sx.org there are some detailed directions on how to go about replacing it. Hope that helps and good luck.

It might actually help to know what year/model/engine car we are talking about.

89-90 240sx Top valve cover a matter of 15 mins tops

Now, on the KA24DE, the little bastard is near the top part of the alternator. The easiest way (for me) is to remove the alternator, oil filter (go and change your oil!!!) and remove the lower intake manifold bracket. you will see a box wit the hose on it. Thats your PCV.
