Ok, heres what i know... the pcv system starts on the intake side of the valve cover with the hose... it goes across then it tees off. it goes forward to the intake pipe between the MAF and turbo, the other side of the t goes back into the oil pan right? i had the catch can on but i had to take it off to put a stainless manifold on, so i got some high temp hose and connected it to the tee and to the drain of the catch can. what i dont understand is how it works with 2 places for it to pull from:across the valve cover and down that tube. where exactly does that tube go to in the back of the motor? i forgot to look when the engine was out. it seems like the flow would be from the exhaust side over to the intake side(where it would be pulled in with regular intake air and be ru-burned), but with the tee going to the maf/turbo intake tube then it is also pulling from there. so if someone can explain that to me and tell me why i have oil in my hotpipe... i think it is from the pcv system because my turbo was just rebuild 600 miles ago...

sorry for being confusing...

that hose that goes from the T to the stock oil catch can would go straight down from the oil catch can. if you look to the right of your turbo manifold, there should be a metal tube sticking out, about a foot and a half down from the top of the motor. i just replaced mine with a circuit sports mini oil catch can that i got from http://www.store.yahoo.com/phase2motorsports/ its only 35 bucks and is small enough to fit in cramped places.
