I got the model year wrong. Should have been 1995. Please see my other post on this matter.

Can anybody recommend an easy way to get to the valve? My local dealer never replaces them since they are so hard to get to. I have blowby near the distributor and suspect the pcv may be part of the problem.

Thanks,Rick

i want to know where you found a 2005 Altima, with a 2.4L motor. second off i want to know where you found a 2005 Altima that has a distributor, these cars use distributor-less ignition systems, or "coil on plug" ignition, so gather some more info and see where the confusion is.

I'm looking at the 2002 fsm for the "2.5" litre engine which should be more or less the same as your year and the pcv valve is on the side of the valve cover closest to the firewall. Looking at this diagram it looks like a 20min job at most.........prehaps your dealer thought you had the 3.5 which is a signicantly longer job to do?
