Not too long ago when i was replacing my valve cover gaskets, i had to replace the passenger side pcv hose that connects to the valve covers because it was cracked. I replace the hose with just a hose i bought at oreillys. later on i saw that something is inside the hose that i took out though i just left the hose i bought at oreillys in. and now if i try to boost at low RPMS the car bogs down and i have to restart the car enable to accelerate at all. Would this hose cause this problem or do i have a much bigger boost leak somewhere else?

In the OEM pcv hoses theres a type of restrictor with bristles that does something to the air flow. This could be affecting it, but I'm pretty sure other cars have run without it. Your problem sounds like a boost leak. There's a how-to on boost leak detection somewhere just google it
