I've seen the wire up for the catch can and I've checked out the stuff needed to hook it up.

I am a little troubled by the fact that the catch can rig drops the hose diameter from 5/8" to 3/8" and then runs it through a restrictive air stone. This may not seem like much but the 5/8" hose has about 3X the actual cross sectional area of the 3/8"; 0.307 compared to 0.110. Plus, the hose length is increased about 20X.

It just seems to me like Nissan chose a 5/8" hose for a reason and that adding all that restrictive hose might override the benefit of any vacuum provided by routing it to the intake.

From looking at things, and blowing through the little air dryer can, it seems that just having a breather filter would allow for better venting than the catch can method. I am a little worried about dripping oil though.

What do you guys think?

I think routing to the intake also has the benefit of preserving the environment as well. IMO catch can outweighs the dumping method, you can even use physics to make more power!!! (bernoulli)

The can just prevents splatter from the mist. I will use one if it is a problem, otherwise it is atmospheric. While the environmental arguement is a good one, most of us have atmospheric dumps and test pipes, so it falls on deaf ears.

I had a custom WDRacing gatorade bottle on my Skyline...worked like a champ.
