Tried installing my PBM downpipe today but a no go. Pipe is hitting bell housing and bottom of car. So I tried putting on the greddy... no good either... stock unit didnt fit either. All 3 were hitting the bellhousing. Thinking that the FP manifold doesnt put the turbo in stock location and needs to be spaced out about half inch or so. Took some measurements from block and firewall. Could somebody measure the location of stock turbo with stock manifold, that would be nice. Took some pics. Anybody running the Forced Performance manifold with the PBM downpipe? If anyone has let me know what u did to get it to fit.

The fact that such a "superior" downpipe has so many fitment issues with so many manifolds kind of frustrates me, and I'm sure it frustrates you even more. Hope you find your answers, man.

The thing that bothers me is that not only did the PBM not fit but wither did the Greddy elbow or stock unit. Gonna contact Forced Performance today. Hopefully they can shed some light on the situation. Hopefully all is needed is a spacer on the manifold off the head spacing it out or between the T25 inlet and manifold spacing it down.

Are they the only two manni's youve found that can run the PBM without any modifications?

Put on the stock manifold and all three downpipes bolted right up. Stock manifold sits lower and out from engine more.

Finally spoke with Forced Performance and they said that no one has called them about having issues with the turbo manifold, granted they've only sold 47 of them since 2006. Find it hard to believe that I would be the only one that had an issue and called them about it. Gonna do some measuring and see if I feel like running a spacer on the head and in between manifold and turbo inlet flange. But if what yall say is true about the stock manifold I might just run it... but its so damned ugly.

People love the stock manifold, Get a Megan or try an ISIS V2 if you dont want to fork out the money for the HKS (Nearly $1000) The most manifolds on a single site i have seen are at 240sxmotoring.com

Yeah I've spent a couple bucks... lol... at 240sxmotoring. Very familiar with Jeff and CIP. Saved me good bit of money when ISIS just came out with their E-fan with shroud kit.

Decided to use the stock manifold. Just mounted it, PBM cobra, Megan straight pipe and Apexi N1 Dual. Just have to get a manifold when I go top mount and bigger turbo.

If you're wanting better flow out of the bottom mount and a better look to it, you could always have it extrude honed and ceramic coated

I still really want the Tomei mani, i love Tomei parts. I will probably end up getting the HKS but damn it costs twice as much haha.
