I'm trying to pay Greg for my BRM... the invoice is a Paypal deal. I don't have Paypal, so I did "continue checkout." I enter all the shipping and billing info and hit continue and it takes me back to the first page with this message:

"Your payment session has expired. To complete this transaction, you will need to enter your information again."

I entered it in less than 2 minutes, how would the session have expired? What am I doing wrong here? This is weird...

Please make sure that you are on the real Paypal site and not a clone web site that is ripping off all your information!

It's the link provided in the email he sent me, so I don't think so... unless they can somehow redirect links...

If it continues to act up, just do a MO or check and I'll get your order placed. :)

Sometimes PayPal is screwy, and even though it's convenient, it costs me every time I use it. :(

If you collect money, it costs - even when it is a personal account. Paypal does a small fee for each transaction.

szhosain,

not for me!

I sold 2 items soo far on ebay & have no transaction fees... only listing fees from ebay.

I collected & transferred the $ to my free commerce bank checking account w/ no additional charges.

edit: You haveta specify to the potential buyers to paypal w/ direct payment from bank account: no credit cards. That's the loophole i have found.

But If u want the credit card paypal option, that's what's gonna cost the seller...

Dude, there's no free ride with PayPal. All my transactions are usually transfers from other PayPal accounts or payments from bank accounts, and they DO charge a fee... That's how they make money.

It used to be free. I used to sell stuff on Eghey. I kept a personal account, no premier, and it was all free. The only thing was people kept trying to pay with their Visas, which I couldn't accept unless I upgraded. Then I'd get stuck with, what, 3.5% on *every* transaction. No thanks!

Edit: Still free for personal accounts.http://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/...tside

Ah, I see.

I have to have the Premier, since I have multiple logins and multiple accounts...

thank u D for confirmin' & adding a link... always learnin something new everyday on this site:bearchug

Az, y don't u just open a personal acct & have people who're willing to pay via direct transfer from their bank acct to that instead of having a premeir account???

it should keep your costs down & everybody knows you're trustworthy, so no need for using CCards to pay; just a suggestion.

You only need premier acct to accept credit card payments through paypal. If you actually have the money in your acct, there's no charge.

NTN: If you have a bank account, just go ahead and make a paypal account too. It's really easy, safe, and it saves the hassle of mailing money orders. And don't worry about lying about your age.. no one cares.
