Pay pal and my bank account

does anyone have paypal linked to any of their bank accounts? it seems pretty convient but Im just weiry about giving my bank account number to an internet company so they can take out money...is it free and i dunno i guess Id just like to hear its working for others..

Ditto. They have good insurance on items up to $500. Used it to pay for my stuff at SPL parts.

They cant pull anything without your permission. Overall paypal is a horrible company thats why they are getting sued. You are only protected when they are 100% their *** wont be screwed. They support criminals over business owners. Lets hope this lawsuit really gets them.

I do all my transactions with Paypal via my American Express card. I want AmEx on my side in case Paypal screws me over. I have very little faith and *no* respect for that company's business practices. Unfortunately, they're a necessary evil for many small businesses on the web. I personally wouldn't feel comfortable having my bank account linked up with them.

I could've joined into the class action suit to get some sweet cash (well maybe not) but decided not to. I do have mine linked but it's a checking account so there's usually no money in there, and i just use it to be verified. I just tell it to charge my credit card instead. Their money back guarantee is not that great since they charge a 25$ fee, and you may not get shipping costs. Right now i'm doing this since i seem to have gotten screwed w/some agx...

I dont realy use it to much either, so far only once. I was gonna use it for spl cause I havent gotten myself a credit card yet and figured this seemed real easy butkinda sketchy. are most the problems with them not backing you when you get screwd by shady bussnesses or to they partace in their fair share of questionable buseness practices themself? any info above yeah they are shady so there getting sued would help because you know how law suits can be now adays

well, most of the problems seemed to be freezing some accounts of users. In other words, they could no use their money for a while. PPL got pissed 'cuz some of them loss money not being able to invest, and others complained that the accounts were being accessed by paypal themselves w/o the users' permission...

I have not had any problems so far, and have done around 60+ transactions.

i have my checking account linked to paypal. it's been two years with no problems whatsoever.
