Just ordered me some forged pauter rods!! $686.00 ordered shipped to my cryotreating guy in washington. I wonder what he is going to do to my rods.. hmmm cryo maybe?

well i really can't say the exact specs right now but its going to be a custom grind piston by wiseco with a bore of 83.5mm. but i really can't say anymore than that right now until i know it can be done

EVERYTHING need cryo treating. I've heard that F1 motors are often completely assembled and then cryotreated as an entire assembled block.

awesome! might have to do that on mine. damn the expense! dont think im making enough power to warrant it though.

yeah everything i get done is getting cryotreated including the turbo/oilpump. i get deals like crazy on cryo

i could probably get it done for free, but its a bit sketch so i havnt tried. i dont really want to get called out walking into NASA with a handfull of car parts. something about misuse of taxpayer dollars or something. however, i would be willing to try if goaded into it by the CA community.

well if you do a piston a day then i really don't see them getting upset. and then you can say you have aerospace quality parts in your ca18
