Hey... ok so what these guys do is kinda like silk screening... anyways... they have the pattern you want printed on a film... then they apply it... (like vinyl) and blast it with something that dissolves the film... and just leaves the ink... and a custom dash in no time!

They will send you a whole new kit (and charge you a core charge of 175, which is refunded when you send them the pieces out of your car after the install,,, they may not have our parts yet so someone would have to be the first....

It looks awesome IMHO... and regardless of the look you are going for... i think this is something to seriously consider... Their full kits are like $350 i believe... but cover the entire console to some degree...

.02 from the peanut gallery?

Heres some shots... not that i like their choice... but here..

Some of the carbon fiber might look ok ... I'd like to see one in person first before giving up mine to have it done.

Ok so i just got a call from the "kingpin" owner of the pattern-tek...

At this time he doesnt have a core (dash and parts) but he can get it if we show interest... And they can match ANY factory color and design, they fully backup their work and have never had anything sent back to them. Mchedaddi wanted to get his wood dash kit.... well here they can paint that same pattern on the rest of the pieces... or paint it to match your car.. or leopard if you want... ...

I am going to explain their process a bit... essentially its a overlay with ink embedded in it.. in a partictular style or solid... and they apply it to the pieces... and then treat them with water, which then dissapates the overlay, and leaves just the ink... its more resilient than a factory dash, has a higher shine and is truly one of a kind... I tried to get GB pricing (as this isnt a cheap mod) and they will work with us, but its on a one on one basis based on the parts you want treated... For instance... the std dash overlay that dr feelgood has... He paid 200 for it, Kingpin charges 275 for those same pieces... But its not an overlay.. its your dash... they can do it on any part you like... engine, calipers, helmets, anything you like... if you guys have any qurstions let me know...

I'll open my wallet nice and wide to get rid of that fake chrome plastic piece around the shifter. I don't really care what it looks like as long as it's not that. Maybe just a carbon fiber. I'd do that and the light carbon fiber/checkered pieces throughout the car (like around the cd changer).

Are these full kits or would we be able to choose just 1 or 2 trim pieces? That'd make it or break it for me.

Could this be an alternative to Gtr overlays?? Perhaps color matched
