Patrol?

Ok, so this might be a really stupid question, but I would really like some info on the Nissan Patrol. First off, am I the only one who knows what it is, secondly, has anyone ever imported one? Is there a web-sight that is Patrol specific? These are a seriously bad-a$$ truck, and I would love to find one in the States!

I've seen very few things on them in the US--just in a few car mags. Can't really help you --but I do agree I like them a lot.

The old Patrols had straight 6 cylinders and had water proof ignition systems. I worked on one that a guy had shipped over from the middle east. Fully loaded,leather,dual a/c, just a very well made suv. You might try calling 1-800-Nis-san1. They might be able to put you in touch with someone.

Thanks drjohn!! I'll try that number. I'm sure if I find one it will be out of my price range, but I'd still love to check one out. How does the water proof ignition work...?.. is everything enclosed or just well insulated. Do you know what years they were in production... or if they still are? Thanks again!

The model with water proof ign. was way back around 73 -74 the one from over seas was about 15 yrs ago. I haven't seen any since but I believe they still make them in for the middle east market.
