Last week I went to my family in Polish mountains. Here is a video with my snow tryout.
The car has all-season General Grabber HTS tires. Snow was rather wet that day so the car was slipping.

Next day we went to forest. Road was covered with ice. The last distance was taken in reverse because there was no space to return at the top of the hill.

Why didn't you use 4LO? It works wonders in snow. Stomping on the gas isn't the best way to get places when you're driving in these types of conditions.

I used only 4HI. It was the first time I driven in such conditions so I was little confused...
But I think the car did pretty well in second video (also with 4HI).

Are you from poland? Or did you go there to visit your family? Also i never knew they had the 3.5L available over there. I thought it was just the 3.2L diesel motor. As for i know, it probably costs a good buck to roll in that in poland.

I am from Poland. Pathinder R50 was never available in Poland, I don't know if it was available in Europe at all. My car is shipped from USA ;)
As for fuel prices on the cheapest station: E95 gasoline is 1,76$ per litre, diesel is 1,77$ per litre.
But my car does not run on gasoline - it was modified and it can use LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) which cost about 0,87$ per litre ;)

That was my 2nd guess is i know alot of people modify them for LPG. Do you notice any performance difference?

edit: Also you mind posting pictures of how its setup? The LPG conversion.

LPG tank is located in place of spare wheel. Also there are some modifications in the engine compartment. Yellow things are LPG injectors.

Grey box at the right side is a CPU unit for LPG.

Your brake fluid looks very dark. When was the last time you had it flushed?

Towncivilian - Thanks for letting me know.
Actually I hadn't change it yet because I bought the car 6 month ago. The fluid level is good and I didn't know that it should be brighter.
I suppose that previous owner hadn't change it since it was bought.
Do you suggest to change the fluid?

Yes, change it out as soon as is convenient. Brake fluid is hygroscopic, meaning it absorbs moisture from the atmosphere. This lowers the boiling point of the fluid, and can result in brake fade after heavy braking, a condition where the fluid boils and you are left with no brakes and a pedal that just goes to the floor - obviously something very undesirable! Dark colored fluid usually indicates contamination, sometimes just natural shedding from the rubber brake lines.
